The Punters Corner Studio (@ Ascot Park Raceway)

Our studio is a mixed photography x fashion design studio with its own gallery space.  We are located at The Punters Corner Studio which is at Ascot Park Raceway on Racecourse Road in Invercargill, accessed through the main entrance to The Royal Ascot Stand.  We are a working studio, half photographic studio set up and half work room for fashion design with a small gallery space which is open to the public on race days.  

 

I am a sport & race photographer and have a Bachelor in Fashion design and work in the fashion studio in my spare time to create garments for concept shoots and shows etc.  I am currently working on our latest collection for an upcoming show. My photographic style aside from sport is concept/fashion/fine art so for the trial we’d open the entire studio space up, including the gallery portion.   I’ll have a mix of my fashion garments on display on mannequins as well as photographic work featuring both my fashion creations and other works. 

 

The Punter’s Corner Studio fellow photographer is none other than Jasyon O’kane who needs little introduction.  Jasyon is a fine arts portrait photographer who also works under the name Dark South and will have a gorgeous selection of his work on display.
