Hello, I’m Teri Linder, a multi-award-winning abstract watercolour artist based in the deep south of Invercargill. You will often see my work being showcased in selected entry exhibitions throughout New Zealand. My creative journey has been deeply rooted in intuition and emotional expression. I find inspiration in the serenity and raw beauty of nature, which is why my paintings often evoke a sense of deep introspection and emotion. Raised in Auckland, New Zealand, my artistic journey truly began when my husband and I decided to leave the bustling city behind and seek solace in the quiet landscapes of the South Island. It was there that I discovered my love for watercolour, finding that its immediacy and unpredictability allowed me to express my intuitive connection to the world around me. My paintings reflect my romantic nature despite the often moody and evocative palette I employ. I hope my art inspires others to connect with the essence of my work and find solace in its beauty.
