I am in my final year studying Bachelor of Visual Art at S.I.T.Visual Artist – I work with a diversity of mediums of art: Photography, painting, sculptor, film installation and multimedia.Socially Engaged Artist practice – Providing an artistic platform for marginalised communities to have a voice and have a significant role in telling their own stories. This will be a collaboration between myself as the artist and the participant.I live on a lifestyle block in West Plains, Southland.I love the diversity of mediums I have learnt over my time studying visual arts. I have a background in photography and loved integrating all that have learnt. Working with acrylic directly on the canvas. Without using a brush, I find I create a more intimate abstract artwork and my creativity just flows directly onto the canvas. All finished paintings have a high quality archival low sheen protective coating. The concept of my artwork begins with the blank canvas, colour palette and a little day dreaming to let my imagination go wild. It is the greatest feeling when you create and develop a piece of art that represents your vision.
