Southern Rustic Art (SRA) is a creative studio based in Invercargill, where rugged southern charm meets modern metalwork.
Specialising in handcrafted steel and rustic materials, SRA designs striking custom wall art, garden art and signage that reflect the natural beauty and rural character of Southland.
Each piece is made with care, often incorporating Corten or recycled metals, and is designed to weather beautifully with time. Visitors to the studio will get an inside look at the process behind the sparks – from concept sketches to plasma cutting and finishing.
SRA celebrates the textures, tones, and stories of the deep south, offering artwork that brings warmth and authenticity to any space. Whether you’re a collector, a gift-giver, or simply curious, you’re invited to stop in, meet the makers, and explore this southern gem.
