We are the Thursday Artists, a group of seven creatives who meet each week at the Gore Southern Institute. Guided and encouraged by our tutor, Julie Duncan, we each bring our own styles, experience, and passions to the table.
Together we explore a wide range of mediums – from oils, watercolours, acrylics, and pastels to mixed media – always learning and pushing our artistic potential. More than anything, we treasure the company, conversation, and laughter that comes from creating alongside like-minded friends.
As a group we are coming together for the Southland Arts Trail, setting up at Margs gorgeous house where we will have a selection of our artwork for visitors to see.
