Living in Invercargill, my creative process is deeply influenced by the ever-changing beauty of my garden, which surrounds my studio. The colors, textures, and rhythms of nature are a constant source of inspiration, finding their way into my work across a range of styles. From expressive abstracts to detailed realism, I explore different ways of interpreting the world around me.
Working primarily in soft pastels, I enjoy the versatility and immediacy of this medium, allowing me to capture both bold, dynamic energy and subtle, delicate details. My artistic journey is a continuous exploration of the balance between emotion and structure, and my work reflects the joy I find in translating my natural surroundings into visual stories.
