With over 30 years of experience as an arts educator, my passion for the creative process has always been at the heart of my work. Now based in Bluff, I’ve established my own pottery studio where I focus on crafting functional pieces that balance utility with artistic expression. My work is deeply rooted in the tactile nature of clay, and I find joy in exploring the subtle differences that can be achieved through form and glaze.
Lately, I’ve been experimenting with vessels, pushing the boundaries of traditional shapes and refining the surfaces with various glazing techniques. This exploration allows me to continually challenge myself and discover new possibilities within the medium. Whether it’s a carefully designed bowl, a textured mug, or an experimental piece, my goal is always to create pottery that brings both beauty and practicality into everyday life.
