I teach art part-time at a local school as well as providing private art lessons. The rest of my time is spent painting in my studio, surrounded by native bush in beautiful Otatara. As an art teacher I tend to dabble in all kinds of mediums, but mainly paint with oils or acrylics. Being strongly influenced by my faith, I love to paint images that portray messages of hope, encouragement, peace and healing (-though the birds that I look at in my garden often also feature in my work!)
The highlight of my art career is exhibiting my work overseas (in Samoa), selling 29 of my 35 paintings in one day!
