Located upstairs at 43 Tay Street in the heart of Invercargill, the Art Attic Gallery is a contemporary and dynamic exhibition space dedicated to supporting and showcasing diverse artistic talent. As a non-profit, artist-run project space, the gallery is driven by a passion for fostering creativity and providing a platform for artists at all stages of their careers—from emerging and experimental voices to established figures in the art world.

Curated by art facilitator Campbell Trewin, the gallery hosts a rotating programme of monthly exhibitions, bringing fresh and thought-provoking works to the community. Our exhibitions highlight a wide range of media and styles, reflecting the vibrancy and innovation of artists across Aotearoa.

At the core of our mission is a commitment to nurturing creative partnerships and exchanges. We believe in empowering artists to have autonomy over their work, offering them the freedom to explore and express their ideas in an environment that celebrates their potential. Through collaboration, support, and community engagement, the Art Attic Gallery strives to be a space where artistic talent is both celebrated and cultivated.
