Tim Lindsay

I am a 6thgeneration Southlander who grew up with a strong affinity for the arts. I played violin from a young age which I eventually studied as part of my degrees at the University of Otago. I have an ATCL in Speech and Drama, and have been involved in artistic productions throughout school and university. I graduated with a double degree in law and politics at the University of Otago in 2015. Growing up, the opportunities that the arts gave me have been invaluable for my development and identity. At the end of 2015 I returned home and commenced employment as a solicitor in the business/commercial team at AWS Legal. Recently I have appeared on stage for Repertory and Invercargill Musical Theatre.

It is a great privilege to give back to the community and help foster the arts as a trustee of Arts Murihiku. We are all better off when the arts thrive.
