Lan Bai – Children’s Book Illustrator & Handcrafted Nail Artist is a Southland-based artist working across illustration and wearable art.
As a children’s book illustrator, I bring stories to life with playful characters and expressive drawings. As a handcrafted nail artist, my designs are like miniature artworks—fun, intricate, and full of personality.
At Whare Taupua, visitors can explore my original sketches, custom nail designs, and play a small interactive game inspired by my children’s book. I’ll also be demonstrating how I sketch small figures with watercolour—come watch the magic unfold! It’s the perfect stop for curious kids and creative souls of all ages.
