Miners Cottage Studio
Sharen Watson enjoys experimenting with a variety of painting and drawing techniques, finding inspiration wherever her easel happens to be — from the garden to a cosy hallway corner.
While she dreams of a dedicated studio one day, her current creative space is set within a historic miners’ cottage, part of the Southland Historic Trail.
It’s a fitting backdrop for her practice, where past and present meet in every piece of artwork.
