Lynn Brocherie Millar is a New Zealand award winning artist that works with pen and watercolour on used upcycled tea bags. Lynn’s unique choice of ‘canvas’ aligns with her philosophy of caring for and reducing waste in our environment.
Lynn’s detailed work of the native New Zealand bush offers a captivating glimpse into the vibrant and diverse ecosystems that exist in our natural surroundings. The intricate fine textured pen strokes showcase the lush vegetation, towering trees, and diverse array of flora and fauna that populate these environments. Her small delicate work allows the viewers to be drawn in and feel a sense of connection with the natural world.
Bees and birds are often depicted in Lynn’s work as they represent her passion for the importance of preserving their habitats and ensuring their continued survival for the well being of all living organisms on earth.
